There is no closing time. The hostal runs on a self check-in terminal by the entrance, much like a cash machine: whatever time you arrive, you have your key in under a minute. It is why people on early flights and long shifts tend to come back.
The terminal works in several languages and takes credit cards. With no booking, you can make one there and then, subject to what is left that night. And if anything jams, the contact number is on the screen itself.
