This policy explains how personal data is processed in connection with this website and with the services of Hostal Óleo, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

This website collects no personal data
The site is static and sets no cookies: none of its own, none for analytics, none for advertising. There are no contact forms, no user registration and no private area.
The date search on the home page stores nothing: it simply passes the chosen dates to the external booking engine.
The map on the contact page is shown as an image hosted on our own server. Google's interactive map only loads if the user explicitly requests it by pressing the corresponding button.
When personal data is processed
Bookings. Booking through the WuBook engine involves providing identification and contact details needed to manage the stay.
Enquiries. If a user writes to the email address or calls, the data provided is processed in order to deal with the request.
Traveller registration. Spanish law requires accommodation establishments to collect certain guest data and report it to the competent authorities.
Purposes and legal bases
Managing the booking and the stay — performance of a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Answering enquiries — consent or legitimate interest (art. 6.1.a and 6.1.f).
Complying with legal obligations on traveller registration, invoicing and accounting — legal obligation (art. 6.1.c).
Recipients
Data is not passed to third parties except where legally required or where necessary to provide the service.
The following may have access: the booking engine provider (WuBook), the banks processing payment, the tax and accounting advisers, and the State Security Forces under traveller registration rules.
This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means the visitor's IP address is communicated to Google. If the user activates the interactive map, Google Maps' terms additionally apply.
Retention
Data is kept for the duration of the relationship and thereafter for the periods required by tax, accounting and traveller registration rules. Once those periods have elapsed, it is deleted.
Your rights
Anyone may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to hostal.oleo@gmail.com or to the postal address above, providing proof of identity.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if you believe the processing does not comply with the rules.
Security
The technical and organisational measures necessary to guarantee the security of the data and prevent its alteration, loss, or unauthorised processing or access are applied.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the law or in the services provided. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
