The hostal
Hostal Óleo occupies a stone building in Nueva Montaña, on the western edge of Santander. It was completely renovated to become accommodation: eight rooms, a bar-café with its own entrance and parking right outside. The area is quiet and sits next to the roads out to the rest of Cantabria.

Seve Ballesteros airport is 3 km away, the train and bus stations 4.4 km, and there is a city bus stop a few metres away. The A-67 and S-10 are a minute away, putting Torrelavega, Bilbao and the Picos de Europa within easy reach.
Being close to the airport with round-the-clock entry makes it easy for early flights or late arrivals. The free parking and quick motorway access suit anyone driving through and stopping for the night. And the soundproofed rooms make it workable for business trips.
